We are delighted to announce the launch of the program
“PREVENT – Prevention of Gender-Based Violence and Violence Against Children”
under the title Bridges to Resilience: Educational and Therapeutic
Interventions for Youth in Care – Prevention and Εmpowerment
for young people who live in public residential care.
This initiative aims to prevent and combat the violence experienced by children and young people living in institutional care settings.
The purpose of our project is to promote the psychosocial empowerment of young people through educational and therapeutic interventions, fostering the development of social skills, self-awareness, and self-confidence. Through weekly sessions with specialized professionals (psychologists and social workers), young people will receive the support they need and will be prepared for their transition from institutional care to independent or semi-independent living within the community.
