We are a non profit, non governmental civil organization. We are members of Eurochild network and partners of FSCI network
Our actions are conducted with specifically trained scientists
Our goals :
- Cooperation network with social services and child protection agencies
- Public awareness and education in Adoption and Foster Care issues and Roots Research
- Promotion and training for Foster Care
- Support groups for foster parents
De-institutionalization
The AMKE Roots Research Center is a member of the Eurochild European Network and National Coordinator of the European Campaign entitled “We are opening roads for Europe’s children www.openingdoors.eu” aiming at the deinstitutionalization of children living in institutional care in European countries. We are working for the rights of children in alternative care in Greece.
